Syllabus & Pattern

Tier-1: 4 sections — General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension (100 Qs, 200 marks, 60 min, negative marking 0.5). Tier-2 consists of paper(s) that test higher-level quantitative/English skills and discipline-specific modules for some posts — check the full topic list and weightage to plan section-wise preparation.

Previous Papers

Practicing previous-year and shift-wise papers is key to understanding question patterns and time management. Download official / analysed PDFs for Tier-1 and Tier-2 (shift-wise) and solve under timed conditions. Focus on high-frequency topics (number systems, algebra, ratio & proportion, arrangements & puzzles, current affairs for GA).

Vacancy Details

The 2025 notification announced around 14,500+ vacancies across Group B and C posts (various Ministries/Departments). Vacancy breakdown, post-wise eligibility and category-wise seats are published in the official notification — candidates must consult the notification for post-specific age limits, educational requirements and pay levels.

Selection Process

Typical flow: Tier-1 (screening, CBT) → Tier-2 (scoring CBT; subject-specific papers for some posts) → Document Verification → final merit & appointment. Some posts may require additional skill tests / typing tests. Final allocation depends on category-wise merit and post preferences.

Success Tips

Build a daily timetable with topic milestones, solve mock tests weekly, review mistakes in a notebook, and focus on speed + accuracy. For General Awareness, use monthly current-affairs summaries; for Quant, practice shortcuts and accuracy drills. Time-bound full mocks replicate exam pressure.
