About MP TET

Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) is the standard state-level qualifying test for candidates seeking appointment as teachers in primary (Class 1–5) and upper primary (Class 6–8) schools within MP. Qualifying MP TET is a prerequisite for many teacher recruitment processes and central/state government teaching positions, subject to the recruiting authority's rules.

MP TET evaluates a candidate’s pedagogical understanding, content knowledge in subjects, and teaching aptitude. The exam helps improve the standard of teaching and ensures minimum quality benchmarks for hires in state schools.
